Biscuit-style Pizza

PREP: 10 minutes | COOK: 20 to 25 minutes | YIELD: 1 pizza crust (4 servings)

1 cup (250 mL) milk

½ tsp (2 mL) white vinegar

2¼ cups (550 mL) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves (optional)

2 tsp (10 mL) each baking powder and granulated sugar

½ tsp (2 mL) each baking soda and salt

¼ cup (50 mL) vegetable shortening or butter

½ cup (125 mL) pizza or pasta sauce
